We are pleased to announce the return of Bingo on Thursdays at 12:30 p.m. We have made some accommodations to adapt to COVID related requirements but hope that our players will be happy to return to a familiar, fun past time after over 20 months away. Please join us for our in-person Memory Café on the second Wednesday of the month from 1:00 p.m.- 2:00 p.m. at the BCOA. This month, we will get creative and work on a holiday craft together. The Cafés are free, open and welcoming monthly social gatherings for individuals living with dementia and their caregivers. Guests with dementia, at any stage, and due to any underlying condition, are encouraged to attend accompanied by their caregiver. To sign up, please call Carolyn Savio at 978-671-0916, ext. 2010.

HIstory Lecture - Billerica & Bedford Railroad

Many knowledgeable people said it could not be done. But this railroad was the vision of one man named George E Mansfield. His vision would not be deterred, and he created a state-of-the-art railroad for a town clamoring for a rail line. The citizens of Billerica were wildly enthusiastic and the B&B made a profit everyday it ran. Yet this railroad lasted less than a year. What happened? We will explore and dissect this very interesting story with its many turns and twists.

Celebrate the season and join us for Holiday Henna at Billerica Town Hall on Saturday, December 18 from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Cost is $5.00 for Henna only or $9.00 for Henna and an Indian lunch. Open to women 21 and over, maximum of 50 attendees. To sign up, call the BCOA at 978-671-0916.

Join us for a hearty lunch prepared by the Travelling Chef. Menu includes Chicken Parmesan (breaded chicken with marinara sauce and cheese), Elbow Pasta with Sauce, Parmesan Cheese, Broccoli, Garlic Roll, Margarine, Mini Cannoli. Cost is $4.00 per person. There is a limit of 16 patrons at this event. For safety reasons each person will be sitting at a separate small table. If you are coming with someone else there must be agreement between the 2 of you to remove your masks to be in close proximity.
